The wasp started it

This one actually happened a few months ago, but I wanted to add it because it was hilarious. I have to give you a little backstory before I get to what Connor said. I don't typically use bad words around my kids. I'm pretty good at choosing the right words when I'm around them. Unfortunately, I'm not perfect and I let one slip from time to time. We were sitting in the house one day when Connor and his daddy were going in and out of the house through the front door. I was on the couch feeding Colin. The last time Connor walked in the house a wasp followed him in. I don't like wasp. They scare the heck out of me because I feel like they're always looking for someone to sting. Mean little buggers! It's bad enough when they're outside, but inside it's even worse. Now you're trapped in your house with it and you either have to shoo it out or kill it. I don't like those options because either way you run the risk of getting stung. So I flip out when this one comes in the house. I immediately say "Dammit dammit!" as I'm running to another room. Steven (my husband) manages to get it out without anyone getting stung. It's a week later and Connor is sitting on the couch watching Disney shows on my phone. As usual, my phone starts acting up and his shows start freezing. I'm across the room and I hear him say "Dammit dammit!" as he's pressing buttons. I burst out laughing and, of course, he starts saying it constant. I honestly cannot remember another time that I said that around him, but he remembered it a week after it was said. It was interesting that he used it correctly. Not that I want my son saying it, but I'm surprised that he used it at a moment when he was frustrated, which is when I would've used it. He picks up things so quickly. He still says it from time to time. I blame the wasp.
